@porter.mcdonald

I just put up a new batch of poetry and images on my Patreon page! If you haven't already, please consider supporting me. (link in bio) I'm headed into the final thesis year of my MFA program, so every little bit helps! Most folks sign up for $5 which is less than a decent cup of coffee and doesn't include a post-lunch caffeine crash! Thank you to those who already signed up. You all are the best! ❤️ I'm honored to have my sculpture featured in "TEXT-ure 2026" at the @cicamuseum in Gimpo, South Korea summer! Wish I could be there in person to participate in the festivities! Just a few choice signs from our summer roadtrip. Wondering what I've been up to during the second year of my MFA? I just posted a sampling of art/writing to my blog. (Check it the link in my bio) Had a great time at the opening of Shifting Potential tonight! I'll be performing my poetry one more time on 5/31 @ 12:30. Hey guys! Join us tomorrow night at 5 PM at the Steinfeld Gallery to celebrate an amazing semester and some incredible artists. In addition to an artshow, I'll be performing a few new poems! Come check out some cool art this Friday! In addition to showing with my incredible friends and classmates, I'll be performing a new collection of poetry! New work! The Backup Population is a comic poem I just finished (possibly an illustrated poem?) about my recent trip to the Ash Meadows Fish Conservation Facility in Amargosa Valley, NV. This is part of a larger poetry collection about the desert, water, technology, and a tiny fish caught in the middle. More to come! Check out the latest comic strip in The Canland Archive!
